How Can I Sign Up as a Supporter?

If you are a family member of a player and wish to view their game you can now ask your player to add you as a supporter to their account.

Please see this guide: Add Supporter in Player Portal

Only primary contact details are imported into Glory League when accounts are set up, so even if you are already registered with the association as a secondary contact you must be added again in Glory League, once you are a supporter you will continue to be a supporter for that players account with that association for future seasons.

If your player plays in tournaments or new associations you will need to ask them to add you to those accounts as well.

You can also ask for the player to share highlights with features like Plays of the Week and by sharing highlights, or playlists with friends and supporters.

Your association is also able to add supporters, so if you are not able to get your player to add you, please contact them to be added as a supporter.

How to Add a Supporter

If your supporter already has a Glory League account, your games will appear in their account. If they do not have a Glory League account they will receive a welcome email to set-up a password. Your supporter will get all your games in their account and a game notification email each time you play a game for this association (unless they turn this off in their account settings)

1. Log in to your account through: https://my.gloryleague.basketball then click the user icon in the top left corner

2. Click "My Profiles"

3. Click "Settings"

4. Click "Add Supporter"

5. In the "Add Supporter" pop-up add the email address and first and last name of your supporter.

Tip: You will have a different profile for every association or organisation you play for. Remember to add supporters to each profile

6. To add your supporter to other profiles click the drop down on the profile page next to your name.

7. The dropdown will show you all your profiles. Click on another profile and repeat steps 4 & 5 for all accounts you want to share with your supporter.

How Do I Change, Add or Erase Teams from my Profile?

A record of all the teams you have played for stays on your Glory League profile. If you are not seeing your most recent games it is usually because you have either not signed up correctly to the competition you are playing in, you have signed up with a different email connected to a new account, or there have been no games recorded for your team this season.

Example scenarios:

  • A tournament where your school has signed you up under your school email, the Glory League videos will be sent to that account, to sync it up to the same email address you will need to change the email in your second account to your original account. Please see: How to Change Email Address in Player Portal
  • Your teenager has signed themselves up to the competition this season under their own email address. Please see: How to Sign Up As a Supporter
  • Parent A signs you up to your association under a different email address this season, previous seasons you have been registered under Parent B email.
  • You are playing for a competition that does not use a Competition Management System like GameDay, PlayHQ, Basketball Connect, Let Me Play etc and you are not registered at all. Please see: How Can I Sign Up?
  • You forgot that you signed up for the competition this season under your old email address that you never check...

How Can I Sign Up as a Coach?

As of May 2024 we are no longer able to add coaches to Glory League directly, please see the following guides for how to get added to your team in Glory League as a coach.

Australia

When your name is added as any member of Team Staff in Play HQ, Basketball Connect, GameDay and Let Me Play it will be automatically imported into Glory League.

You must have registered to the platform the association uses for you to be able to be assigned into a team. If you have not been added by your club or association you must contact either your club delegate or registrations manager at the association who will be able to help you register.

New Zealand

GameDay Competitions:

Almost all competitions in NZ require registration in GameDay, so you will need to fill out a GameDay registration before your sports administrator or association can assign you as Team Staff to the team. When your name is added as any member of Team Staff in GameDay it will be automatically imported into Glory League and into Scorekeeper as a coach.

If your name does not appear in Scorekeeper please do the following:

  1. Register through GameDay (you must do this every year, and you must do this for every "club" you coach for)
  2. Notify your Sports Administrator (if coaching a school team) or Association (for reps or schools without Sports Admins) and ask them to add you as a coach to your team. They can do this under "Team Staff"
  3. Once you are registered your name will appear in the Glory League Scorekeeper app as a Coach and you can check into the game as well as get game video after the game.
  4. Check your email after the game for your game video email

Non-GameDay Competitions:

If the above does not apply to you, please contact the competition organisers, club or association you play for and ask them to add you to the team. Alternatively you can add yourself via the Glory League Scorekeeper app before the game is played. Please ensure you have added the correct email address entered when you do this in order to get access.

How to Get Family Access to Game Videos

Supporters must be added by players from inside their own accounts:

Players must now add their family members as supporters themselves using the Player Portal. To get access to a family members game, please ask them to add you as a supporter.

Easy instructions are available here: Add Supporter in Player Portal

You can also ask for the player to share their favourite highlights without their supporters having to create an account by creating and sharing their Playlists

Already have a supporter account but aren't getting recent games?

If your player has registered for this season under a different email you will need to be added as a supporter to this account. The same applies if they play for another association or a tournament and you will need to ask them to add you to those accounts as well.

What Stats Are in the Leaderboards?

You can see the stats for each League you play in, inside your Player Portal for:

  • Team Standings
  • Points
  • Rebounds
  • Assists
  • Blocks
  • Steals

What's new:

While you can tag turnovers in your game video, they are hidden from the leaderboards. We have also removed the stat for tagging so now you can tag as many plays as you like without everyone being able to see.

How Do I Access My Account?

After you play your first game you will receive a Welcome Email from Glory League. This may come at the same time as your first game email, or before the first game email. You can use the link in this email to set up a password, or you can wait until you get your first game email and follow that link.

Welcome Email

The game will be uploaded to our servers and then encoded, depending on the internet connection at the venue, the number of games played that day and the length of the game this could take from one hour to an entire day. Once the video has been encoded you will get a game video email from us like the one below.

Game Video Has Arrived Email Screenshot

The first time you get a game email you will need to set up a password when you click on the game link, for future logins you can use your game video link to go straight to your account and will not need to re-enter the password if using on the same device.

If you are having trouble logging-in check other email addresses you may be signed up under, such as parents email, school email address or work address.

How Do I Sign Up to Glory League?

You don’t need to sign up!

As a player in a participating club or association, you are automatically enrolled in the Glory League system by your club or association.

Glory League takes player privacy seriously, this means that only players, coaches, team staff and club delegates that have registered with their association have access to the game videos, and only for the games that your teams play.

If this is your first time using Glory League you will get an email from us with your account details after you play your first game of the season. You will receive a welcome email with a link to set up your account and a notification email to let you know that your game video is ready to view.

Your "Welcome to Glory League" email and games will be sent to the email address you used when registering yourself into your team through the competition management software (GameDay, PlayHQ, Let Me Play, WSA etc)

Without a registered email address, your account will not be activated and you will not be able to receive game video email notifications. If you are not registered please contact your association who can help you with this.

If you are a returning member missing games from a new team check other email addresses you may be signed up under, such as parents email, school email address or work address.
